Joining Standards Australia has been a transformative journey for me. It's a place where culture and people are at the heart of everything we do, aligning with my own values of empowerment and community service. The organisation's dedication to keeping Australians safe and its purpose-driven approach resonate deeply with me. Standards Australia is more than an employer; it's an integral part of the fabric of Australian society, playing a pivotal role in the development and the ongoing success of our nation.

IT Infrastructure and DevOps Lead
Before joining Standards Australia, I had little understanding of the role that standards play in improving safety and quality of life for everyone. Coming from an organisation focused on protecting communities from bushfires, I was proud of my work. But at Standards Australia, the impact is much broader, and I feel even prouder to be part of it. The Weekly Heads Up Stand Up meetings reflect the organisation's culture of communication and care for people. I feel blessed and lucky to receive unparalleled support from my team and management. Plus, the nine-day fortnight working benefit allows for a nice work-life balance.

The organisation is heavily employee-centric and focuses on our well-being both personally and professionally. While professional development is encouraged through various trainings and assignments, it also has employee-friendly policies that positively impact us on a personal level.
