Four contributors from Standards Australia have been recognised with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 1906 Award in the 2024 edition. This award honours exceptional individual achievements that significantly advance IEC activities.

Dr. Ian Oppermann, incoming Vice President and Market Strategy Board Chair at IEC and a member of Standards Australia’s Board presented certificates to Leslie Brand, Lee Thomas Collins, Peter Lee, and Hilary Marazzato for their outstanding contributions. ‍
