Call for Digital Trade Standards mentors
Statements
As part of the ASEAN-Australia Digital Trade Standards (DTS) Initiative, Standards Australia has launched the 2023 Fellowship Program. The program is designed to connect emerging professionals with leading experts in standardisation and digital trade across Australia and ASEAN.
Building on the success of the last four years of the ASEAN-DTS Initiative, the program seeks to amplify knowledge sharing and the use of international standards to unlock the potential of digital trade opportunities across the region.
Under the guidance of experienced mentors, fellows will have the opportunity to develop action plans to support digital trade standard initiatives within the region. Plans will focus on specific aspects of digital trade, including digital logistics, digital transactions, e-commerce, and e-invoicing.
Participation in the 2023 ASEAN-DTS Fellowship Program provides a valuable opportunity for both established and emerging professionals to meet, network, and collaborate with others in the field.
Recognised as digital trade standards experts, mentors and fellows will also participate in ongoing professional development through dynamic workshops and the opportunity to attend an in-person Showcase event in Jakarta, Indonesia in February 2024, with travel expenses funded by the program.
Applications to become a program mentor or fellow are open now.
To be eligible to be a mentor, applicants must have experience in digital trade and/or digital trade standards, be proficient in English, and be committed to completing all compulsory program elements. Applicants must also be located in an ASEAN Member State or Australia.
To be eligible to be a fellow, applicants must have a professional interest in digital trade and/or digital trade standards, be proficient in English, and be committed to completing all compulsory program elements. Applicants must also be located in an ASEAN Member State.
