Standards Australia partners with Pointsbuild to offer access to standards

November 11, 2024

Statements

Today, Standards Australia announced a new partnership with Pointsbuild, a leading provider of online education and professional development.

This collaboration, centred on education, seeks to increase awareness of Australian StandardsTM and support end users in interpreting them, while also helping professionals fulfil their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) obligations along the way.

Pointsbuild has established itself as a prominent provider of online education, focusing on sectors such as the built environment, allied health, social services, and membership bodies/associations. With its self-developed learning management system and an extensive course library, Pointsbuild provides training to meet CPD obligations.

This partnership aims to support professionals by not only providing educational courses on Australian Standards but also by making these standards directly available—either bundled with course purchases or separately via the Pointsbuild website. This dual approach ensures that users can learn how to interpret standards and apply them more seamlessly in their work.

“Our partnership with Pointsbuild embodies our commitment to making standards more accessible”, said Adam Stingemore, Chief Development Officer at Standards Australia. “By leveraging Pointsbuild’s expertise in online education, we aim to empower professionals to better understand and implement Australian Standards.”

Michael Tomlinson, Managing Director at Pointsbuild added, “We are delighted to launch our partnership with Standards Australia and look forward to driving adoption, uptake and best practice through education on Australian Standards. We believe our extensive reach and database will make this collaboration with Standards Australia crucial in facilitating broader access and understanding of standards.”
