Standards Australia hosts the ISO Annual Meeting 2023

September 12, 2023

Statements

Standards Australia is proud to host the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) ISO Annual Meeting (AM) 2023 in Brisbane from Monday 18 to Friday 22 September - the first time the event has been hosted in Australia in 30 years.

The week-long conference is presented in virtual, hybrid and in-person formats under the theme “Meeting Global Needs”.

The program comprises interactive sessions, workshops, and networking activities with global stakeholders - from the ISO community to civil society, international organisations, the private sector, decision-makers, and academics.

ISO AM 2023 highlights collaboration, innovation, and sustainable solutions to tackle global challenges, how to secure a better future for the next generations, and the role of International Standards in achieving the 2030 Global Agenda’s Sustainable Development Goals.

The event presents a significant platform for Australian experts to engage in critical discussions relating to international matters of importance.

A comprehensive speakers’ list, including both local and international talent, is available here.
